How do you get ready for a 22 mile race in a month and a half? Here's an idea. The first week I'm going to gauge by time or distance. Last years kiss with the marathon should make a short build easier, but it's asking for a sore spot. Anyhow, here's the next two weeks:

1st week:
M- 30 mins or 3.5 miles (speed) and (2 hours biking)
T- 40 mins or 4 miles (easy)
W-off
R-45 mins or 5.5 to 6.5 miles (tempo)
F- off
S- 60 mins or 7 miles (tempo)
Su- off

2nd week:
M- 35 mins or 4.5 miles (easy)
T-40 mins or 3 miles (speed) (2 hours biking)
W-off
R-6 miles (recover) (2 hours biking)
F- off
S-8 miles (tempo)
Su-off (beer)
